New Years Eve, Day 365
This is post number 365, It concludes 1 year of my photo blogging. I've had so much fun and learned so much. It's been a very intriguing experience, some days where i've had to hold myself back and only post 20 pictures! Some days where i've snapped a quick shot before going to bed. I've learned an unquantifiable amount of information about photography, both conceptual and mechanical aspects.
All-in-all this has been one of the most rewarding projects i've ever done! I'm going to keep taking pictures each day, at least for now, since that's what i'm used to. I'm excited to see what the next year will bring, the photo opportunities and where they will take me. Thank You, readers, for following this, offering comments and feedback, and sharing your opinions about my photography.
May the next year be a blessed one for you!

Puzzling
Abbey and I gave 'Don't Break the Bottle' as a Christmas Gift. However when we bought we didn't realize that there would be 'Some Assembly Required'. Basically, you 'lock' a wine bottle in the puzzle, and then you have to figure out the puzzle to be able to get the wine out. Abbey and I spent over a half an hour trying to figure out HOW to lock it in. I guess the joke was on us....

An Awesome Gift
My bro-in-law-in-law gave me a boomerang! This thing is sweet! We went to do some 'artic boomeranging'. For those of you unfamiliar with artic boomeranging, it's where you find your nearest frozen tundra, and then throw a boomerang until it disappears for a half hour and you nearly freeze your caboose off looking for it! I strongly recommend it!

Juice & Gifts
This morning we added radishes and beets to our standard carrot apple ginger juice. It had a beautiful color! Wrapped some presents in the PM.

Beer & Beauty
I headed into work this morning before the sun rose. As it began the sky danced with fire and colors! I took a whole bunch of pictures from the time it started until it was almost gone (15 minute period) and pulled over several times to snap a quick shot. My friend Linzie also had her birthday, so we went out for drinks after work.

A food day
Abbey and juice at least 3 or 4 times a week. Our current phase is Carrot, Apple, Ginger Juice. This is our favorite 'Best Tasting' juice. Then for dinner we had a delicious meal as well, though I can't exactly remember what it was....

Messing Around
I was going for an old, grainy film look. I pumped up the ISO and created a lot point of view. The photograph reminds me of a still-shot from the TV show, COPS.

Cold Steam
I saw the downtown PowerPlant exceptionally 'steamy' this evening on my way home from work. the below 0 temperatures I'm sure were the biggest contributing factor. I took a few dozen shots from different vantage points throughout the city, but was moderately lazy, as I was ill-prepared for -0 temps (not to mention my camera's suggested operating temperatures....) These were 2 of my favorites. And I took a picture of a plant, simple enough.

Hot Cider
Abbey and I went out for some Hot Cider after seeing the movie, Up. We stopped at Pikes Perk on Academy. I also pulled into the Target parking lot to take a picture of the abundacne of shopping carts in the snow.

Street Snapshot
Woke up this morning feeling 'under the weather' to say the least.....I won't disgust you with the details. Anyway, I had Abbey drive me to work, just in case I got worse during the day. She needed the camera for a craft fair she was in to take pictures of her display so I shot this quickly knowing it would probably be the only one I'd take of the day.
